Jeff Gelder – President / Founder
Jeff Gelder is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico where he began his on-air radio career, and has been a resident of San Diego since 1987. Jeff is an on and off camera professional and owner of GelderHead Audio Productions/Heartfelt Voice Over, where he voices both local and national commercials, documentaries, e-learning, and audio books regularly. In his spare time Jeff heads the non-profit that he founded called, Children’s Holiday Magic Project, Inc. The charity produces and delivers a new digital CD radio show each year titled Holiday Magic, A Gift for Children of All Ages, to kids who must spend their holidays in Children’s Hospitals worldwide. Proudly, 2020 is the 18th edition of the CD radio show project!
Danielle Knauff-Raykowski – Treasurer
My husband and I dreamed of building a business where we can help businesses with quality, informative and competitive pricing. After a few years of working my day job and coming home to work on ours we built our business enough that I no longer worked 2 jobs. 2012 we doubled our business and then partnered up in 2013. We are still going strong with our original clients still with us. Its never any easy road to go out on your own, but it is the best feeling to know how much you can help just by giving the client honest straight forward advise and knowing they trust you. I’m excited to be a part of Children’s Holiday Magic Project and happy to join the board of directors.
Karl Bimshas – Leadership Development
Boston-bred and California-chilled, Karl Bimshas is a leadership consultant executive coach and author. Since 2009, he has collaborated with individual entrepreneurs, executives and their companies to improve relationships and strengthen essential leadership skills with his Leadership Guidance System, accountability partnering, and customized development programs that grow employees and build effective teams. A writer of fiction and nonfiction, he has a line of business books that feature valuable advice on how to thrive in today’s workplace. In both his writing and his coaching, he looks to help others uncover their hidden potential. He earned an M.S. in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego, a B.A. in Mass Communications from Emerson College and has held several operational and sales management positions in public and private corporations.
Elle Parker – Secretary / Event Coordinator
Born and raised in Roy, Utah, Elle joined the Navy at the age of 21. She was stationed on the USS Nimitz in San Diego for 4 ½ years and completed 3 deployments, 2 of them supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. Elle serves as a graphic designer at a professional design firm in San Diego, CA, and provides expertise in many areas including Web Design and Video Editing/Design, Corporate Branding, In-House Photography, Print Design and more! After volunteer for An Evening of Holiday Magic Gala Fundraiser she is excited to join the Board of Directors.

Carol Shamon-Freitas – Talent Agency Owner
Shamon Freitas Agency was established in 1987. Carol Shamon, the owner, was a model herself and wanted to protect up-and-coming talent from less than reputable agents and managers. The agency was conceived as and remains a booking agency. Shamon Freitas Agency is not a school and does not take photographs. There are no fees or dues.
Several years ago Carol’s son experienced an extended stay at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego due to a severe illness. It was a very close call but thankfully, due to the wonderful care he received, his story has a successful and healthy outcome. Since then Carol has a special place in her heart for Children’s Hospitals and has generously offered her wisdom to us as a member of the Advisory Board.

Mary Stockton – Financial Advisor
Mary has been a successful Financial Services Professional with Stockton Financial and Insurance Services for more than 15 years. She had earned the award of Top Producer and continues to thrive in the financial marketplace. In 2009 she was honored with Mind Masters Entrepreneur of the Year Award and New York Life’s San Diego General Office Agent of the Year Award.
Prior to moving to San Diego she owned the women’s bookstore, Crone’s Harvest in Boston, MA. Her business became a valuable cultural center and she was honored with the Helen Diner Community Leadership Award. Her community work here in San Diego includes currently serving on the board of the San Diego Human Dignity Foundation, her service on Diversionary Theatres’ Board for more than 6 years, serving as Board President for 4 of those years. She also served on The San Diego LGBT Center’s Board for 6 years as well as the Board of Stepping Stone of San Diego. Mary was honored by San Diego LGBT Pride with the 2011 Spirit of Stonewall Community Service Award and the 2012 Outstanding Service to the Community award by the Tom Homann Law Association.
